Can you say carbon fiber?
Check out the HKS Evo 8 at the Tsukuba circuit. I had a Option video of a few track cars like Jun Evo 7, Mines R34, STI and RX7(forgot which company) and they all did it in 59 seconds, fastest was 58s with the R34 I believe. But the HKS Evo 8 did that thing in 55 seconds. The driver was Tanaguchi-san and the event was the Option Tuner challenge at Tsukuba, held on 18th of December, 2003. Quickest ever lap at Tsukuba in a road car at 0:55.000. Go Evo!

Yeah, I read about this Evo and the time a few months back in a magazine. Very sick Evo. Gotta love a car that's got a carbon fiber body and isn't afraid to let it show.
