I'm might order the UK Evolution VIII emblem to put blow it. Except the "VIII" part will be at the bottom right of the trunk. Also thinking of get the Kaminari CF Evolution Wing for everyday driving and useing the large CF Evo wing for track days.

 

I'd much rather have the word EVOLUTION on the back rather than Lancer...just me tho.

I think I'm gonna put the "lancer" emblem in the lower left where my "evolution" used to be.

IMO thats like degrading the car from the evo pride. sorry. i dont like it.

 

I don't like it, its to close the the mitsu emblem. Plus the Evolution badge looks better.

 

While I don't share the low opinion many Evo owners here do, I do agree the Lancer name should not be that prominent on the Evo trunk.

What I would do if I had an Evo.

Get a red Mitsu diamond.
Take off the Lancer and Evolution badge.
Get the JDM 96-00 Lancer badge in place of the stock Evolution badge.
Put the VIII on the right side of the trunk.

Sound like a lot of rebadging and debadging? Perhaps, but I haven't seen anyone else do it at least.

 

Wow! OK. Sounds like a lot of you don't like this. Oh Well. Too late now and I like the difference from other Evo's.

ew, don't like it...those letters should stay ONLY on the regular lancers...sorry, not on the evo.

 

as a lancer owner (non-evo) .. those letters were the first thing I removed. Props for originality .. but I also feel it would look better with just evolution across the back .. and the small lancer in the bottom left corner. atleast you didn't remove the evo badge all together and leave just lancer
