Anyone with Springs & Lips

Is anyone here running an aftermarket lip in conjunction with springs? Does this make the front end too low? Thanks!

too low is my middle name

It depends how bad the roads are where you are, and how willing you are to take every incline at a strange angle, I have a lot of close calls... especially with hoe ****ty tucson roads are.

This is how I squeeze into my driveway

BTW the majority of springs wont get you as low as me, but it'll be close.

when i had the stock height with a do-luck lip, I was still scraping some places (i have a steep driveway), but it wasn't too bad. If you drop it like 2 inches with a lip, i think it'll be a lil too low... lol The lip was atleast an Inch lower than the stock lip... probably like 2 inches

do-luck... and my car is about 2 inches lower than stock... They key is learning how to drive a lowered car and avoid scraping. Once you do that it's not that bad.

once you have owned a lowered car, you will remember any bumps and stuff around your town.

I wouldn't get the lip unless you have coilovers. I had my car lower, but the lip made me raise it a little for daily driving. That way you can pick the exact height that works as a comprimise between lowness and driveability.

caution would solve the problem but it's just another expensive thing you will hate to mess up

Mine looks like il2az... lowered 2" on Tein S-Techs and a do-luck lip You get very consciounce of the nasty roads and how to angle your cup up or down greater inclines... You'll be fine. I've scraped MINORLY about 2 times...thats it Go for it! Its the hawtness.
