both are cheap. I have the Pioneer AVIC N-1 and it kicks ***!!! The AVIC N-2 is available now as well. Alpine, Clarion, and Kenwood have great units as well.

I work at the Roadshop in my Circuit City and can tell you that as much as I used to like the AVIC N-1, it really isn't all that it is cracked up to be all things considered.. We stock the Jensen unit that I think you're mentioning and the first thing you'd notice is the picture quality: it's birght and crisp compared to the hazy and dark picture of an N-1/N-2. I personally don't like Jensen, but it has an INCREDIBLE screen and is a VERY good unit for the price. At the same time, don't get me wrong about the Pioneer unit: it is still an awesome gizmo when you take navigation into consideration...it's #1 in that category. Between the two that you are comparing, I'd go Jensen for sure. If you can save a bit more money, check out the Panasonic...(this one http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/Panas...oductDetail.do).

I have the Jensen you are probably talking about.

Great product! No compaints. Picture is perfect from any direction. Nice crisp picture too. TV capability is poretty cool. It is just antenna though so you get whatever stations it picks up.

Everyone who gets in my car loves it. And how oculd you beat the price? I think it was like $900. Not sure why people haven't jumped on this product. Some people say they don;t like Jensen, but they been around for over 40 years and products are good.

I don't know about speaker and amp wise about Jensen. I don't know how high quality and loud those are, but their in dash is nice!

I too am surprised...I do like the headunit ALOT, and when I said I don't like Jensen I was talking about all their products in general...their speakers are CRAP! When I get my car, I wont be getting anything but Kicker and Infinity speakers and amps. (Note how I didn't mention subs...becuase I don't want the added weight and get get plenty of bass from good 6.5" components).

I wouldn't buy my stereo stuff from the same place I buy my creamed corn. It's really that simple.

no good, jenson is ok. But he said it right when you get what you pay for. I am not saying that the jensen is the best or that I would even buy it for my car...but for 799.00 you get am/fm, cd, dvd, mp3, and a built in tv tuner...not to bad for the price minded. The only reason to go with a N1/N2 is for the nav, there are much better units out there with 7" screens and more clarity.
