There is definitely something about the lip being different color than the rest of the rim (on any wheels). I think it always makes it look better. Nice job !

I'm not a big fan of painted rims, but this is very nice and clean. What other plans do you have for the car?

guys .. thanks for all the kind words and glad everyone enjoy them ... and the best part is that i think i kinda started a trend here .. the way i see it .. all DYI jobs always are very very rewarding.. especially when it comes out just the way you had it in your head ...

the process took me about 5 days to complete .. i kinda rushed it, wish i could've spend more time and patience ..hehe .. but yes, i agree that everyone who's painted or thinking about it .. should definitely go out to your local paint shop and get a couple ( 3 cans each ) cans and do it yourself !

FYI .. i went through 3 cans of black, 2 cans of red and 2 cans of clear coat and 2 cans of primer ... and awhole lot of sand paper .. my finger nails are finally normal colors again ... but the most important part is .. dont wear any white sneakers while painting .. LOL my air force ones are now pink ... LOL

guys good luck and have fun !

once again .. thanks to everyone and glad you all enjoyed my little money saving project...
