How much is too much? You see some EVO's with 15K+ in bodykits, paint jobs, rims, tires etc, but to me it just comes across as too much.
EVO's are pretty clean from the factory just put on some EVOVII tail lights, headlight tint, maybe, rims, maybe, lower it, maybe, but keep it simple.
Anyone agree or disagree? Here is a picture of a NSX and a EVO neither are my favorite colors for either car, but the NSX really looks the part compared to the EVO. Any thoughts?

Well, thats hard to say, because some think that having the car look really good is more important than any other single thing they could do to the car, so for them, the Uber expensive veilside kit is justifiable, but 5000 in engine mods is not. For me though, i think anything over 3000 is alittle pricey, but that also reflects how much money i have to spend freely. Im sure with a better job, my opinion would change..
This is all opinion... Most evo owners see exterior mods as being pointless, but if you ask me I could have bought a first gen talon if I didn't care about looks. I'm a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to the looks of the car, and I like a clean look, but aggressive too. I think it's all just opinion, and people should just do whatever they have to do to make the car look the way they want it to.

i disagree. As long as it's JDM, it's fine to me. Although those altezzas gotta go. I like body kits. Makes ur evo unique. However, if u start adding decals here, vinyls there, chrome wheels, etc etc, then it starts to be ugly
This is an interesting conversation. You will hear opinions on both sides, and it's nice to see that everyone has been tasteful without attacking. Being one of those guys with custom paint and a body kit, I can say that appearance is obviously important to me, but so is performance. Some guys are strictly about the horses, and that's totally cool. To me, style is as important as performance. I've tried to balance them, but I also recognize that I have different performance goals than others. I will never attack someone for leaving the appearance of their car stock just because they'd rather have horses than looks.
Yeah it's all dependant upon whomever owns the car.
I made a poll about this, and the consensus is quite fair between the two
