I think the heat gets pretty hot from the temp of the head itself transferring heat through the intake manifold and throttle body. I understand the efficiency of a liquid IC setup but I still think the pipes get pretty hot from transferred engine heat more than anything. Just my opinion
trust me bud, if you could feel the temp on that water to air intercooler pipe, you would realize that those temps are not going to have much of a negative effect on the intake temp themselves.
