I was wondering if anyone has tried to remove the triangular "nose" section from the stock Evo 8 front bumper? I would like to create an opening similar to the Evo 9 style. I have a good bodyshop that is willing to try it, but would like to hear if anyone has done this already.

 

someone here had done it. u would have to search for that thread though. try "custom front bumper" or something. i don't like how it looks though, the hood's pointy part sticks out too much with respect to the grill.

 

A friend of mine has done it - realize you end up with a hole where it used to be - no screening either. So you'll need to augment or replace the screen that's there - let alone clean up the cut and mend job you'll have to do.

 

Yes, I realize the screen would need to be replaced and the resulting hole from the "nose" would need very careful mending to look right. If anyone has photos of this I would really appreciate seeing them. Thanks.

 

just photoshop it ...it shouldnt be that hard.
