damn it serioucly hope that it didnt take that long to do that install. And the price they charged you...we would have only charges you no more than 275 for that job, and I can promise you that I could of had it done in 2 hours at the most...

But either way, so long as it is installed and a good job is done thats all that matters.

About the code hopping transmitter delay, I dont have this issue with any of the dei 2-way pieces that I have installed. If you want a little more range without a delay you can simply turn off the code hopping feature for even greater distance. You can use a bitwriter (I have one) or just go into the programing menu with the valet button..

I would personally go with any of the LCD 2-way DEI systems. A plus is that you can add a GPS system as well to them. I should have mine in about 13 days...

Add a backup battery, plus some auxiliary kill switches in addition to any alarm system.
