Thanks, I actually was on compustars website....
i was looking at their 2-way pager alarms with built in remote starter as well....the one with the 6000 ft range....
anyone know how much they cost?
alarm was the first upgraded ive done to the evo because i wanted a peice of mind. we know that if someone wants ur car bad enough, nothing will stop them. i love the alarm system i have because it also has other converience features like auto start and turbo timer. i also had a solanoid put in so i can pop the trunk with the alarm. heres a pic of what i have, and if u have seen similar design from viper and such..its because theyre all made by DEI.
Dont believe any company that says the alarm works 6000 feet range. Yeah you might get that in a dessert where there is no obstruction of view of the car and no other interferences. The realistic is about 2-3 city blocks. Mine in downtown Philly works about 2 city blocks and my car is in a garage

The Top of the line alarm is great a little better range but there is a delay when you hit the button and the car to respond due to the digital freq, and anti hoppin coding. I hope you dont install it your self it is not a very easy alarm to install alot of work. Better off goin to an authorized dealer and have them install it. It should cost like 500+ range for the top of the line installed.
