Anyone have the answer to that?
Ok, the Gialla Hood does not have holes in it so the vent is not bolt on. The hole for the vent is almost as big as the sides of the vent. There is no way to bolt on the vent to a gialla hood. Every Gialla hood i have seen either has the crappy mesh on it or no mesh/vent at all. Yes it looks nice without the vent, true JDM race car, but i dont want stuff getting into my motor. So what i did is i vent over to the hardware store and got some adhisive and super glue. I created something that would stick very well. The vent sits like oem. There are no bolts holding it down. I have taken the car to 110mph to test it and it holds great. The reason behind this is because there is Zero lift under the hood. The vents on the sides vent the air out like a vaccum. So there isnt much upward lift on the vent at all.
I am thinking of taking it off soon. Does anyone know of a good adhesive/glue remover? If not i will leave it on there. It has kept alot of crap from flying into my engine. So it was my only alternative to getting it on there.
