ViS lost me as customer forever when they sent me their super garbage Eclipse hood.. talk about completely not fitting how its supposed to be.

Ive heard good things about Seibon relative to price vs quality, but Im not aware of their hoods having any kind of special strength to their hoods.... carbontrix I havent heard of honestly.

I have a Seibon OEM style carbon fiber hood. It fits really well with no huge gaps and looks great. here's some pics of it...

Agree, the Seibon looks great for price... just would like something w/ that extra protection.

Ok, actually I have a question too... maybe someone knows b4 I ask a paint & body shop... I kind of like the Seibon Type C hood http://streetconcept.com/LANCER/LANC...YPE_C_HOOD.htm but I want the hood to have a matching vent on the driver side front so it will be semmetrical like this one http://streetconcept.com/LANCER/EVOL...D_TOP_FUEL.htm . Does anyone know if it can be done and more importantly approx how much it would be? Thx.

I had a Seibon CF hood on my STI for over a year without hood pins and was blessed enough not to have any problems. I wouldn't suggest it I suppose but just putting in my 2 cents that I didnt ahve any problems. Was a great quality hood and I've had a ebay one too and the Seibon is worht every penny extra.
