not bad for $150 per wheel

The wonder of ebay. Yes, they are brand new and that price included shipping and center caps. I bought them from a power seller that sells off a lot of discontinued wheels, etc. I just had to use a different centering ring than what came with them. They weren't listed as an Evo fitment, but I knew they'd fit (17x8.5 +35). Anyhow, woo-hoo, new shoes for cheap!

They start the auctions low and they go for what they go for. I was just lucky. The listing wasn't done very well either. I only saw them because I had an autosearch for any ebay motors listing with the word "SSR" in it. After wading through many emails of OEM wheels off the GM SSR truck, these popped up on an auction with a tire size that didn't work. I called, got the guy to separate the wheels and tires and he gave me this great price (which was actually a lot lower than I was expecting). I think it was the 2nd or 3rd time they had been listed and they just wanted them gone. Anyhow, I seriously doubt they are stolen.

The mudflaps are rallyarmor.com ones. I think they were a little under $110 shipped. I decided to get them to complement the white wheels.

I didn't personally weigh them, but they are noticeably lighter than the stock wheels. Tire Rack lists this size and offset at 15.9 lbs. per wheel.

Outrageous deal, congrats!

Only thing I would worry about is them being authentic SSR's... if they are, pat yourself on the back again

A friend of mine had those wheels, 18x8.5 on his MR before he sold it and they are really light. Did you feel any difference in acceleration with them? SSRs are somewhat expensive too so 150/wheel is a sweet deal.

Thanks. If they are fakes, then they are damn good fakes.

Here are the stickers that are on them:

And here is a valvestem cap:

They passed for real with me.
