Gruppe-s 60 mm panel help

Anyone else have any fitment problems? The two gauges to the right fit fine but the gauge closest to you does not sit flush in the pod causing the gauge to not really snap in.

Is there any trick I'm missing to put the gauges in tight and secure? I'm afraid on a hard launch or a big bump one might come lose.

Well I'm coming up pretty empty handed for install tips on this, I guess everyone else's was fine but the gauge closest to me does not fit snug in there at all. It seems its bent or something cause I push the gauge in like the others, it "snaps" into place and then pops back out once I remove my hand from it.

ok, because the older one had issues

I dont own their new panel (I have a custom panel), but perhaps the issue is with the rear portion of the gauge perhaps being too large?

Did you check to make sure the rear portion of the gauge isnt bumping against the radio bracket? I had to trim mine just a bit.

It was touching the front of the panel (where it curves) so I trimmed it a little, we wanted a really snug fit so I didn't use the foam tape I put a zip tie behind and its good for now.

old did not fit fine which is in part why they came up with this new version which uses the factory clips

alot of people had issues with it fitting so-so

rev...I'm I just got my panel and did some test fitting and I'm curious if you needed to trim the stock radio support at all for the far right gauge. It doesn't seem like there is much clearance to me..but I dont have any idea how deep the gauge itself is.

Here's a tip.

My Defi BF gauges didn't fit well into the Gruppe-S panel opening; the housing was loose and had too much play.

I tried the felt strip that Defi provided bit it was too thick and de-laminated when I tried installing the gauge into the panel.

So I used some masking tape, the blue 3M masking tape used for painting, and stuck it to where the gauge housing touches the inside lip of the panel.

It was just thick enough to give me a tight seal.

BTW, I used the masking tape because it easy to remove and doesn't leave any residue.

Good luck.
