Gorgeous rims on gorgeous cars, NICE
Quick question, I don't care about fender rolling and all that other neat stuff, what is the correct size I need for my 8 ?
A size that won't rub with 3 passengers + myself !
Thanks...

Spacers required or no?

I have evo 9 lowered on HKS hipermax coilovers (not too low) and thinking about purchasing an Enkei nt03 18x9.5+40 wrapped with 225/35/18. Do I need spacers to clear brembos? If so, where? How much? Any fender work?

Thanks!

Why would you run a wider wheel, but narrower tire than what comes stock?

Can someone explain to me how this is going to work? I've got R/T Ernie's rear trailing arms ready to go, I figured the best I could do was 18x10 +38 RPF1s

I'd love to do NT01s instead, but I'm really skeptical I can fit these. My fenders are rolled and slightly pulled, there's already a minor paint chip so I guess I'm committed at this point.

I mean, compared to my already weird +45 RPF1s, I just don't understand how this can be possible. I'm at a pretty functional ride height too.

Where are you skeptical of it not fitting?

I have the same wheel setup as V8.MR (18x10.5 +30 w/20mm spacer in the front with a 275/35 tire) and it's tight but it definitely fits. Stock trailing arms, very close though so I have a 3mm spacer in the rear. Front fenders are rolled and have the evodave fender mod, rear fenders are rolled and pulled, rear bumper bolt is relocated. Going wider than a 285/295 requires cutting.

You can kind of see the side profile in this pic. I don't have any better side profile photos on hand, sorry.

Yeah, 10.5" is pretty hairy. The 10" would be a much better option in that large width.

But, heres an overlay of my set-up vs the 10.5" (im pulled, rolled, bumper bolted & lower rear bumper skirts have been spread out 1")

Looks somewhat doable, if the pull is significant & some aggressive rear camber.

I did an experiment with stacking some spacers. Orange is me + spacers, green is the 10.5 NT03s. How much rear camber are you maniacs running to make this work?
