My Orbital "1.5" din conversion

Thanks to Orbital and Phil at 201Motorsports, I can finally complete my dash exactly how I wanted it to be! "Half countersink" the Defi gauges and the Kenwood headunit up top, and move the AC unit to the bottom.

Enjoy!

I personally think the screen comes up too high while the unit is up top. I used to have that setup. I guess it is a personal thing. I just like the way the gauges sit up top and have the radio at the bottom. If I am tuning or tracking and need to read the gauges, I will probably have the screen shut anyways...

Looks nice, but looking at the gauges while the unit is out is out of the question though. other wise looks nice!

Not a very smart move IMO... you can't see the gauges if the deck is up...

I would have mounted the unit above the gauges as now you cant see your gauges when its out.....

The dash kit does look good but you could have done the same thing with the stock brackets. Just moved the stock brackets back a notch on your radio chasis and walla....countersunk radio...

Thats what I did on my avic-n1...

That is so much better than using the radio relocation kit. Is this going to be in production or was it made just for you?
