Anyone have 50% tint all around?
Anyone have 50% tint all around?
I've seen plenty of tinted evo's but the lightest anyone has seems to be 35%...
I'm pretty much decided on 50% (all around), but would like to see if anyone has any pics or if anyone has gone that route at all.
The car feels a little naked since it's a 4 door and there is alot of window "real estate" so I think tint is necessary... BUT - I'd like to retain as much night-time visibility as possible and never having owned a car with tint I feel like 50% would the best choice. The interior is all black anyways.
Anyone have any pics of 50% on an evo? thank you in advance

Alex, do you think 35 is too dark? 35% isn't really that bad I have 20% all around and I'll admit it's way too dark and at night I have to put my windows down to have full vision.
I would suggest 40-45% my friend has a wrx and he has 40% and it looks much better than stock but still retains vision

I also don't want the tint to stand out very much, meaning - I would like for it to compliment the interior instead of hide it.. I would like for it to accentuate the overall styling of the car instead of drawing attention to the *darkness* of the windows.. I also don't plan on modding the exterior much (not yet at least) so I don't want it to look like someone bought a new car and slapped tint on it because it's the cool thing to do - you see so many bone-stock cars around here with limo tint and it just looks tacky.
That's why I made the thread - I think i've only seen 50% on porsche's, bmw's and ferrari's... I think it's going to look classy, but I guess I won't know for sure until I try.
If you try, please post picks. I live in maine and the law is 50% all around. I dont think ive ever seen 50% so if you do it id love to see pics. I was plannin to to 35% all around.

50% will probably look like your windows have dust on it.Preety pointless...I have 20% all around and a %15 strp accross my windshield.
IMO 50% is way too light and a waste of money. From a distance it looks slighty tinted and doesn't look tinted at all up close. I don't know if this is the look you're looking for but 35% is the next best thing. Keeps the sun out and
And as for driving at night with 35% tint...it must've been pitch dark outside because I don't have a problem finding out what cars are around
