New FMIC installed... pics!
I finally got around to install the FMIC today and thought I would share a pic... more to come tomorrow when she's on the ground and I can get better pics..

Yes, this is the Nisei FMIC. The core is HUGE compared to the stock one and heavy as
I was hoping to loose some weight after the install but I think it safe to say that the entire stock setup ie. FMIC, pipes ect... weighs less then just the Nisei core alone. I decided while I was installing the bumper back on to remove the mesh from the center to expose the FMIC as much as possible then saw how much better it looked then I decided to remove the 2 little sections above but by doing that it made the steel bumper beam more exposed and I didn't like that so out came the sawsall, cut the beam up so that the FMIC is completely exposed and looks great. I also ditched the
symbol in the center of the grill, what you you think I'm still on the fence
Hopefully I finish it up today if I get the time and post more pics later on this evening... heres one more you ya

So how much of the intercooler fins are blocked off by the bumper? It also appears you removed the bumper beam.
