'05 VIII now in the UK

Here are a few pics (at night) of my 2005 Evo VIII. I just picked it up today after dropping it off for shipping on Dec 27th!!!!
I'll get some better daylight pics tomorrow.

Today I took it to the hobby shop on base and changed the oil, air filter, debadged it and added some tasty JDM Evo VII tail lights I picked up here in the UK for $100.

Enjoy.

To a certain degree it does. They call 'em left hookers.

DUDE, where are you Lords Walk or Lakenheath off base housing (Eriswell)? The drive through Mildenhal village should be killer with an Evo, i always wanted to drive it hard through the round abouts, tell me how it goes man !!

Oh and FYI, take it out to Snettertens Market by the race track, they will love you over there.

Lords Walk. I will be heading to Snetterton for a track day on March 3rd if the weather holds. Its an open pit day so it should be pretty fun! A good road is the one back road that goes from Lakenheath village (by the soccer field) to the Kebab shop in Mildenhall.
Later this year in July or so we are heading to the "green hell". Anyone know what that is?

Of course they do. This is the land of the FQ's. BTW if you go to the Mitsubishi Lancer Registry website, you can get alot of the bits you are looking for. Just understand alot of them dont like to ship to you guys in the USA with your "inflated dynos". Their words, not mine.

Why would I trade my Evo for a car I couldnt bring back to the USA? For that matter why in gods name would I buy an FQ in GBP when you can duplicate the car for much less starting with a US Spec Evo? Oh and for a new FQ340.. more like $62,400 (32,500GBP X 1.92). Yes they get raped here, poor chaps.

Yeah i know Lords walk. I have had a many drunken staggers from there to windsor circle (behind the shopette). Yeah that road leading into Mildenhall Village is really nice. The only thing i never liked about it over there is how small the roads are. Good luck in Snettertens, during March the weather out there is "pants". But go out there in June for their 2 weeks of sumer and you can race till the sun goes down at 2200 hrs . Keep her shiney side up bro and be safe.
