i cant even imagine what you're going through.... but at least you can get up and plan on what you're doing next. it's time for a new project, i know its probably too soon but do you have any idea of what you want to do?

best of luck

Well if you did some searching instead of crapping on this guys thread or even better PM the OP, you would have realized that you only have a couple of options.

1. modify the stock beam
2. Order the thinner JDM crash beam
3. fab a custom one
4. Throw it out

what are you talking about? i have done research...there are quite a few threads on here that talk about fabbing one and so forth. that is why i asked if the OP had one. no one ever answered my question, all they could say is that a crash beam would not have protevcted the car in this crash. no **** sherlocks......i know that, but i wanted to know if the OP had one on the car and all they can say is that it wouldnt have mattered if he had one, or tell me to calm down (i dont know who is upset or mad or w/e cuz im not, i just havent gotten an answer), or telling me to research.

Ouch..that sucks. I know exactly what your feeling right now. I got into an accident with my Evo back in nov, and still haven't gotten it back.

Hope its a total loss cuz if they fix it, its gonna take awhile. All State decided to fix my car and it totalled up to be around 26k. 21k for the parts and 5k for labor. Whatever you do, make sure its a total.
