Two new parts from Rexpeed installed on my 05 LY EVO today!


gurney flap in TB



1x1 weave CF sidespats.

My car is now 99% done as far as exterior looks is concerned... and I'm pleased with the quality and fitment of the parts

Car looks good, but I don't understand the side spats, what do they do?

Just for looks mainly..... its just another accessory to dress up the car IMHO

Looks really good... I bought my Electric Blue Gurney Flap from Rexpeed too... Hope mines come out looking as good as yours did!

as far as tint goes, no I'm not going to tint it since I dont see too well at night...
even after having lasik surgery done and seeing 20/15 I still wont do tints...
Thats just me.

as for a drop, no, I wont lower the car either, I need my ground clearance to survive NYC roads, and be able to get into my driveway which has a steep curve...
I did manage to put in a Bilstein suspension off of an 06 MR though

well, my advice to you is this, take your time installing it and aligning it right.

Tonight I went to an EVO meet and saw 2 06 EVO's with the factory installed gurney flaps. I got to see how dumb the mitsubishi PDI guys are since they pretty much installed it kinda half assed .....basically the gurney flap was installed like 4-5mm towards the front of the car which left a big gap on the wing. When I got home I decided to install it all the way towards the back so that there wont be any gaps at all....looks good IMHO..
