Mitsu paint.......sucks or not?
i got rid of my stock paint/clear....it was ok..just have to have the time to take care of it...
i used dupont/dupont clear on my new paint job...always shiny,no swirls, easy to take care of..etc...
if you gonna re shoot clear go with the dupont 7900(or the 7995,etc...depends on your temperture it sees)its a very thick clear and brings out the color very well

Not!
Mistu clear is soft, but I believe that makes it easier to deal with. I dont even have to get out the orange pad to correct almost everything. White pad and alittle Menz Final Polish and most all swirls are gone. If you want to stop swirls from coming back then you have to be very careful when you wash, dry, clay and wax.
I have wash with 2 buckets, grit guard, Shmitt and a high quality car soap.
For clay I use a lightly abrasive bar, after I wash before drying using the water and clay lube to help stop marring.
To dry always use a high quality micro fiber towel, and QD.
The facts are that everytime you touch your car there is a chance of marring the clear. SO, we must be very careful all the time.
