Your Honest Opinions

Just wanted a bit of feedback from you guys. I've never been that big of a fan of decals/stickers on any of my cars (eventhough on some car's I've seen, they actually look quite nice when kept simple). Anyways, my Evo is, and has always been stripped down to absolutely nothing (how I've liked it) and when I say it is bare, unless you knew what type of car it was, you'd never know, as nothing on the car says Evolution, Mitusubishi etc. except where "evolution" is imprinted in the skirt and the mitsubishi emblem that is on the front grill. I have been tossing around the idea of putting a single really small decal on my car to set my Evo apart from the others here seeing there are tons of them on the streets (black at that) and wanted your thoughts. I came up with my own logo. The "4G" in the logo comes from the 4G family of mistubishi motors and the rest is self explanitory. Should I give it a shot and see how it comes out with having this as my only sticker on the car or leave the car as it is? I'd hate to rice out this car and I'm really skeptical of even trying it out as I've never really had any stickers on anything as I've always peeled them off from day 1. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Here's a link to the logo I made up in paint (you'll have to maximize it to see it properly)

And here's a few recent shots of the car to give you an idea of what the car looks like if you've never seen it before. Hope I put this in the right section of the forum

i read the post but didnt see on where you plan on putting the decal. I'm not a huge fan of badges or decals either. But I think when there are just a few nicely placed, it can compliment the car. I like the decal design. Just gotta choose a location.

I usually don't like putting anything on paint... so front or rear window. Mabey passenger side, top corner of front window? Not big, mabey 8" long?

Thanks for the replies so far I am thinking of the glass (haven't totally decided which glass yet though) and I was thinking of having the total decal no taller than 2.5 - 3 inches tall tops with the proportionate default length. I'm not a fan of putting stickers on the paint either especially seeing I will be painting the car soon. Just wanted to hear your guys honest thoughts. Thanks...

My opinion is that the cars best looks simple and clean. If theres alot of things going on the car it just ruins the lines of the car =]

My fears exactly...Looks great clean IMO, but I get confused with other Evo's from a distance sometimes which was why I wanted a single sticker different from the rest. I figured it won't be much going on being one sticker and small, but still...If I can't decide, I may have to paint the car a color no-one else has, but then that's another big decision! I thought of doing the evolutionm logo, but my car's generation is kinda in the minority bigtime here and not sure how it would "rub everyone" so I said I'd do something totally different.

Just tossing around ideas though to see what people think. The car still sits bare so nothing is done yet or final. It can also peel off a stciker if I try it so it may be worth it just to make up my mind. A sticker only costs a few bucks

It's an Evo I with and Evo III lip kit on it which I've mentioned many times before here...Definately not trying to have an Evo III just look at my signature . I much rather have the first generation which was where it began. The car came with the kit and so she sits. Not much difference between the 2 car's generations anyways as they both use the same body.

Thanks for the reply man... I'm thinking when I have the car re-painted, the "III" imprinted behind the "Evolution" on the side skirts, I will have filled in so it just reads "Evolution". That way people won't get confused with the car's generation.

The car has aftermarket rims. Here are shots when they first went on.
