gloss black... I did it on mine.. and Just did it again on my new hood.. Flat black looks like you primered it and forgot to finish.. Which brings up another point.. Use primer!!! Or youll be redoing it all over again when you spray your first coat and have tons of fish eyes...

 

Definitley go with the OEM mesh...flows much better. Did it on mine too:

 

I definitely will!! I just took my stock piece out from my trunk. Did you guys use that entire piece with that top lip or just somehow get the mesh out of there and put it in? I'm trying to figure out if I can even get my CF lip part/mesh off of there without cutting.

 

Still trying to figure out how to get this glued on peice off the stupid hood so that I can somehow fit the OEM one on. I don't want to ruin anything in the process. eeek!!!
