Hi guys,

This is the hood that I'm looking to buy.



I have a question about the vents. Do I need to worry about rain with the positioning of these vents? I mean, I see different styles of hoods with vents in multiple spots and I don't recall anyone stating a concern about moisture. The only difference I see with this hood are the slits on either side but should I be concerned?

am not so sure but i dont worry on my CF hood

I've had that hood for about 3 years now. You will be okay with stock airbox. With an open filter, you will need some shielding. I have an Apex'i that comes with a "heat" shield that works perfectly for this purpose.

I haven't made it yet, but i will be making a shield for the intake.

It sucks, because now that its fall, we get rain maybe once a week, sometimes more.
