How hard is it to paint the headlights?

I was just wondering who's all painted there headlights?
Did you think it was a total pain in the a$$ or what?
I've read the How-To on here but I'm still concerned about trying it on my own.

Some people will say its easy and others will say its hard. Ive painted head lights on a 2000 civic, a 1994 3000gt and tail lights on my evo. I didnt think that it was hard. You willbe fine as long as you have some patience and dont rush any thing.

Doing it is not hard. Making sure it's done right is the hard thing. I mean when it comes time to reseal them if it's not done 100% you will have a leak which will cause condensation in the housing and possibly lead to premature burn outs of the HID's...and at their price tag I wouldn't want to be replacing them all the time.

I have done a couple of pairs and only one was perfect as far as reseal.

Yep, I've tried to send him multiple PM's awhile back, he never responded including his website. I just bought MR headlights and called it done.

It's not hard and if you take your time, you will not regret doing it yourself. I used some Marine GOOP and I have no problems at all. I understand your concern, but I would do it again in a heartbeat. It really isn't hard...it just depends on how meticulous you are. You can do it!

PM me and I can show you pics and help you out with any questions. The sealing part is not that hard as people make it. Just squeeze the tube of sealant and use a good amount and put the two pieces together and squeeze them hard and hold it for a few seconds. That's how you seal them.
