Which do you think is better for my RD??

I have the valentine 1 radar detector and want to know other peoples opinions with radar detectors.
Where do you have it mounted? on the visor clipped, or the windowshield with suctions

I hear if its on the window, you get better range and its more accurate. But it's also highly more noticeable than having it on the visor with the wire hidden in the A-pillar. Plz post any suggestions or comments. i tried them both and like the visor personally better. i took pix of both for reference.

In the window is too distracting. Plus with the visor you can at least hide the wires.

Put it on the windshield on the passenger side of the rearview mirror so you cant see it when driving. Should have plenty of viability for the rear sensor out of the back window and hardwire everything so it is nice nice.

I have mine hardwired and mounted on the right side behind the mirror a bit...you should take that into consideration as well.

(as turco stated)

I would try to hardwire it through the headliner and attach it under the rear-view mirror with some type of bracket. That would be the ultimate spot, for me atleast.

I have mine hard wired and directly behind the rear view mirror and it is pretty much out of view to anyone except me inside the car. Not a big fan of the power cord hanging in the window or mounted on the visor.
