Can't decide what tail lights to get...
From your list of choices, I'd go with evo9 tails.

I like the black housing myself, but the Chrome/White looking turn signal strip seems to throw it off a bit. I opted to paint my tails flat black with a gunmetal signal.
You could do it yourself if you have patience and another daily driver, or you could have evodave paint them.

The only thing about the MR that I don't like is the orange turn signal piece. That's why I would go with the USDM IX tails. They have a black backing instead of the chrome that you don't like but the turn signal is white (a neutral color) instead of orange (which doesn't match anything else on the car).

I've always liked the look of the Evo 7 tails, but to be honest, I think they make the back of the car look a little too much like a regular lancer to me. Maybe I just feel like this because the aggressive lines of the Evo are hidden by certain colors (I drive a TB), but if it were me, I'd go Evo IX or JDM.
