My Project: TSX Projector Retrofit Review! Lots of pictures :).

I got a lot of PMs regarding and told you guys to wait until I write a review, so here it is! I know this mod isn't for everyone, but whoever is concerned about lighting and want more output at night, I'd recommend getting a TSX retrofit. I love lighting so this was a well worth it mod for me. I had the retrofit done by LightWerkz.net. I've know the guy who runs that site and retrofit for well over a year now and he's very good at what he does and always has high-quality products. He even called me to update me through out the process and gave me detailed information on what he did to my headlights and what to look for; that's customer service!

I've heard stories about the TSX and S2K projectors, but never experienced them in my own car. These projectors are AMAZING!!! The width, intensity and color is absolutely insane. I've driven tons of cars with HIDs at night, but nothing compares to this. It's just something you have to see in person.

My TSX projectors have been "color modded" to produce more sharpness and a thicker color cuttoff (seen in pics below). Since my cut-off is thicker, my lights flicker blue and purple over light bumps and such. Who needs 10K or 8K HIDs when you got something crazy as that? As a result, I've already noticed when I drive at night on the highway a lot of cars infront of me slow down to see what car is behind them . I'm running a 6K HID set right now for the low-beams and 3K HIDs for the fogs incase anyone is wondering. I will be going to either 4500K or 5000K for the low-beams next week. I want pure white light and the most output possible. And no, changing the bulbs to something whiter will NOT change the intensity of the cutoff line. I already tried it.

Anyways, onto the pictures:

THE REASON WHY I DID THE RETROFIT - UGLY OEM JDM PROJECTORS
You can see the hotspots I was talking about in there. The beam distribution is not very even.

SOME NIGHT SHOTS
Yes, they are purple because of the cutoff, NOT because of the bulbs:

See, my lights are pretty much pure white with a slight hint of blue:

Who needs 8K, 10K, 12K HID bulbs? :P

I love the color at the cutoff, the light output looks sick!

Looks awesome. Ever since I rode in my friends S2k at night, I've wanted to do a s2000 or tsx projector in the evo. I don't know what it is about those projectors...the cutoffs and light output is spectacular.
