Soooo true, mine will be daily driven, but for the sake of something exploding at the track, it would be nice to have a bad boy like the trailer in the post below

I used to have a Dively 17'x96" steel open (not solid) deck that weighed about 1500 lbs and cost about $1500. I think they are a little more now, but still under $2000. That's about as light as you'll find in steel trailer and a number of the "aluminum trailers" on the market are 1500+ lbs. anyhow since they have steel frames underneath. An all-aluminum trailer can be as light as 700-900 lbs. depending on how long and wide it is.

I think your Volvo is going to really struggle, especially on hills.

You are probably right. At this point and time, i might have to rent a pickup from lowes for like $25 a day dont need one yet, but if i found one for a good deal, i would jump on it.
