I bought a can of VHT Nite Shades and smoked my side markers myself. It cost me ~$10 and about an hours worth of work. I'll take some pictures tomorrow and post them on here.

Here are some of mine. Sorry I don't have any really close pics. I used the VHT Nightshades stuff, too. It is really cheap and really easy to do. I have no idea how they (LancerShop and others) justify charging so much. I guess it's because you have to buy the marker as well.

 

I have the STM smoked side markers on my EB evo but they don't look nearly as dark as the ones in those pictures (sorry, no pics of them yet).
