Just Installed: Do-Luck Carbon Fiber Trunk WINGLESS! 56K death (Plus Trust Ti-R)
UPDATE PICS OF CAR HERE = https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...-56k-lulz.html
I installed my new Do-Luck cf trunk yesterday so I thought I'd take some pics for others to see since there aren't any good Do-Luck trunk pics on here (and there aren't many carbon fiber trunk pics in general on here).
Installation was a little frustrating but not too bad if you can get someone else to sit inside the trunk and adjust it Some things that helped was when I put some washers under the factory striker (that attached to the body of the car). This allowed the striker to sit "out" more instead of simply "up" more. I also may end up putting some washers on the trunk lid hinges so that the lid sits a little higher in the back. After it was all said and done I had to give it the Porter Cable treatmend with some Menzerna to take out the haze on the clearcoat and the scratches put by me and from coming from Japan. (Trained eye will see all the polishing dust hehe).
Updated with pics of the entire car. It's just my crappy point and shoot but it's the best I have.

very nice. i dont suppose you have tried to place any factory badges on the trunk. kinda wonder if the oem diamond stars would work, i think placing it were it would be on a stock trunk would be where this starts to curve out. kinda like to see the badge on there myself to see if i like this really nice trunk. awesome purchase thanks for the pics. lets see more of the car outside.

Thanks everyone for the compliments. I know I need to take some pics furthur away to show what the entire car looks like. I'll snap some when I can and post them up. Happy Thanksgiving btw, I'm stuffed and and ready to take a nap haha.
You bring up a good point about if the factory would fit in the normal position. I'd have to try it but I would imagine it would have to sit a bit lower to be flush. I'm planning on just running the oem black "EvolutionMR" in the lower left hand corner.
I hear ya, I looked at all the pics and you can't see what the entire car looks like. If I drive to work tomorrow I'll snap some when I get there. I've had too much Thanksgiving food to move my 240 out of the way to pull the Evo out
Driveline still has them in stock I believe. https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=378160
