Ross Sport Evo VI

Hi Guys.

Just thought you might like to see some pictures of the evolution of our Time Attack Race Car.

Many USA based tuners have been involved in supplying parts for the car:

AMS
Buscher
JM Fabrications
JNZ

Cage install:

More cage shots:

We found a small fracture in the shell so decided stronger diff mounts were needed. So got to work with the grinder

Once bracing is finished should look like this.

We have been making progress again:

All pics taken on my phone :blah:

All suspension arms have been off to the blasters & have now been powdercoated.

The rear bracing has been finished:

Under side of the car is all clean an repainted.

Dry build of the new fuel cell out of steel before carbon version is fabricated. It had a nice sump on the bottom & twin -8 feeds.

New boot floor, 95% Carbon sheet :coolsm: (I'm very peased with this little touch  )

Few more pics of the cage:

Off to the paint shop:

Some more progess:

More progress:

4.3kg stripped out of each door + Carbon door cards fitted

Nearly finished now!

All new braking system inc bias valve. Many thanks to Paul Neverman for his help on this one:smthumbup

Fuel cell fabricated and fitted.

AMS Race IC fitted. Not for the feint hearted on a VI! But awesome now its done.

Quick release bumper done.

Two bolts & two cotter pins and it off.

New nome made carbon foot plates

And a few random ones.

All done now and off to the body shop.

Few more pics:

A few pics from the paint shop.

Doors all stripped:

Unpolished but finished paint

Pics of work in progress:

PAS + Oil cooler installed:

Fire System finished: (although pic do not reflect it )

Gary has been busy with the chassis loom:

Chris & I deciding on routing for new vac pipes & Dry fitting JUN plenum :coolsm::

Few Random ones:

Chassis loom finished and ready for dash to be replaced.
All wiring on MS connectors.

All IC Pipes had to be modified due to JUN plenum, sitting much higher than the old AMS unit. Also had to relocate the BOV due to it interfering with the Strut brace and fire system. New hoses for top breather system dry fitted.

:coolsm:

Few pics showing *some* of the underneath. All fully rose jointed, fully adjustable, roll center corrected chromoly arms.

Couple more

All Finished

On the track for first time:
