paint coming off my ev0

i used a 3m dark very mild swirl remover on my car. I noticed after working it in , that some red was actually on the rag. any idea what it is. I did it in too spots. most of the swirls are still there. So i didnt go through the clear coat . what could it be

red apparently doesn't have a clear...don't fret...having some paint come off with a car that has no clear is normal...

The yellow has no clear as well. That being the case you should wax your car often!

btw... with the 3M SMR...you have to work it into the paint until it's nearly gone to have any type of swirl removal ...IMO, the Meg's #9 is easier to work with by hand...

red doesnt have a clear coat
how is that possible, i worked on area with a really really light buffer ascolating buffer. The swirls dimished but less visible. Is that a fact that red doesnt have a clear coat or rumor

RED DOES TOO HAVE A CLEAR COAT... I took my car to a top of the line auto mobile painter her in NJ... Bob Nagy's to have him evaluate the paint. I was getting nervous with all these people claiming it doesn't have a clear coat but he confirmed that it does.
