well i posted yesterday and today i took some red vinyl and made a red lip on one of the grey mr wheels on my car, i think it looks good with the red brembos, let me know what you guys think here are the pics.

this is only vinyl so paint will look better, just gives you a rough idea of what it will be like

 

Black with a red lip would like better IMHO.

 

not sure how a red lip would look on those. black id say yes but gg ged some red rim tape from ebay and check it out before you paint the lip

 

im thinkin bout doin that just to see what they look like

 

or just leave it all same color, i just think the red lip would look sick

 

I don't think i've seen a red lip without the wheels being black. I say do it and be different, i doubt it will look that bad.

 

thats what im thinkin, i dont think it will look bad but im just not sure, i was hoping someone had pics and has done it before, i might try it first with vinyl

im buy vinyl tomorrow and do it, pics will be posted then people can really tell what it looks like.

May be you could try painting just the ends near the wheels angling down toward the front of the car or something. Might look good with a little accent on each side. Might look like crap, also.

I like it, goes well with the car and isn't the typical black w/red time attack. Volk had a special seibon edition time attack color that was similar to this. Looks good, go for it!

 

ima go for it man, looks really good in person, and never seen it on a evo before, everyone always does the black with red, i see the votes are in favor of no red but its just so tempting, ima buy the paint and just wait and see what more people say till tomorrow
