Yea its close, there is a indentation in the snorkle to clear it. Its a tight fit but there is always space for carbon!

It should clear on a stock 8 with no real problem. I got it to clear a 2.5" pipe with a Tial and there's still 1/4" clearance off the top of the BOV.

what is included in the kit? is it just the box or does it include the intake pipe and the open filter?

It's the box and snorkel with a filter, a really nice MAF adapter and the hardware needed for the install. It uses the stock or an aftermarket intake pipe. The more I look at it the more I like it.

anybody think this will work with the ETS piping and intake kit thats meant for the stock battery?

This is whats included

The snorkel is small but wide and mostly there for looks. Most of the cold are is directed from behind the headlight area. That would be the reason for the "box" top and sides to be so wide. It really cleans up the corner and hides the ACD reservoir nicely.

That pic doesn't show it but there is a MAS adaptor that comes with.

I agree.. Carbon spark & cam cover would be a nice addition with the Mishimoto intake! Just need to stick with the 2X2 twill carbon weave.

I'll be back...going to rob a bank!
