I wouldn't DD with harnesses on. Head movement for lane switching is definitely restricted unless the belts aren't properly tightened.

Its actually not an issue at all, i can just turn my head to look in my blind spot very easily. the only restriction that i notice and dont like is when im preparing to turn either left or right from a stop sign in heavy traffic it can be hard to see if you dont set the car in the right place.

For that hole while you are wating on a gauge prosport makes a cover that makes it look real clean I have it in the Grupp-s panel and its nice.
