so we replaced the rod bearings and guess what! still a knock, i had a friend from school tear it apart and he thinks its either a piston, cylinder, or some other bearing. i found another guy with a motor so im gunna try to get it i guess, there goes more money down the drain, fml

If none of your rod bearings were the cause my next bet would be the balance shaft bearings. that would actually not be bad to fix. kind of a PITA but very inexpensive lol

You're a good man for saving that car. I had to do the same thing, although mine didn't have any jackass engineering, it just looked like it might transform into a gay robot.

Ready yourself... From this

To currently this, although I'm about to get all new body panels and painted matte black most likely.

i love that front end when it's for a purpose like actually racing the thing and you have the body parts to finish the look off. as for how it looks with the stock body, hell no.... i'd get rid of that SSQ BOV and just go with the Metal 9 DV which works great.

yeah ive heard alot of people say to get rid of the bov but i really dont have the money right now, my priorities are to get it running right and tuned right now, after thats done ill worry more about cosmetics like lip, wheels, and other little ods and ends. ohh and the bov is really loud, its kinda funny to fly past people and scare the **** out of them

i just got new brake pads this weekend, not anything special but yeah

id really like to get an evo9 turbo, mishimoto radiator, cbrd tune, and some rota gforces.. but unless i win the loto it wont be happening till summer

I also swapped bumpers back to stock just because it's more my style.
TG that was an Evo being saved...saw you driving on main post last week
