everyones got an opinion

not everyone shares your opinions... deal with the critism...

i personally has seen vomit with more visual appeal than that paint job... but thats my opinion...
when u ask what people think, dont be surpirsed to find something u dont agree with.

fk everybody else (including me and my opinion)....if u like it, thats all that really matters...

god bless america and all that crap

Gorgeous -

Call me crazy, but I would reattach the stock deck lid emblems, or at least the UK Evo VIII badge. I think they complete the job.

I think you're right Budlong (about the whole respecting someone else's opinion thing).

Anyway, I personally don't like the multi-tonal thing you've got going there. I've seen some cars like that on the road before (crap cars... you know, chevy's and the like) and I've never found them to be very attractive. But then I've never seen it on an Evo before in person.

The paint is bad asssss. Dont listen to the haters. The only thing that sucks about your paint job is that some day a hater will come across your car and key the hell out of it.

I'm a big fan of multiple color paint jobs like on some of the stock mustangs and camaros a few years back. Whether people like it or not, it's a rarity for an EVO 8.

Heck, at least you didn't leather your seats SpiderMan style .

I don't usually like this color on cars....but in this case it looks pretty good. The Evo has enough shape on profile that you can see the color shift as it follows the angles of the flared wheel wells.

But what does it look like under the hood? Is it still OEM colored? If it is, I'd be a bit disappointed.

the hating begins....last night my window was smashed and i spent the next 3 hours vacuuming up glass shards. i got the window replaced today. i could tell it was a professional job because my CD case with $200 worth of cd's is still on the pass. seat, yet all my empty cd cases in the center console was taken. and my badge for work was taken, and my wallet was still in the glove box (which was open). the paint, luckily was unscathed. thats all the mattered to me, when my friend was pissed off about the window, he couldnt understand why i didnt care about the window, and all i did was examine my paint. I was just like "i dont give a **** about the window, it would cost the same to replace 2 windows as it would to repaint one door!!!"

i was thinking about graphics, but it was too much. the paint, is clean and non-obtrusive. as far as the paint, EVERYTHING is done. under the trunk, the ENTIRE doors (inside/out) all jams, inside the Engine bacy, pulled the engine and painted all inside. the only place black exists is under the car. other than that, they only was to know it was black is by the paint code on the door.

looks very sweet, I have always been a fan of the BASF color shifting paint (I am assuming that's what you used?)
