The car handles decently with these for a daily driver. I wouldn't Auto-X or do a HPDE with them though. Sidewall is very soft.

I loved how the azenis 615's (255/40/17) looked on my stock 8 wheels. The sidewalls made them look beefier.

lol @ the title of this thread as though it's something special. I'm running 255/40/17 NT05's on my stock BBS wheels. Perfect size.

WOW!... like the title says "lets SEE those 255's on a 17". Nobody said anything about it being special, unless of course yours are?

everything I do is special. Act like you know

but seriously, I just thought it was funny because 255's on stock wheels are an everyday thing around here. when you do it, go with NT05's. you won't be dissapointed

Stock 235 to this is night and day. A lil more forgiving with bumps in the road and the improvement in cornering is obvious. The total look of the car has changed as well.

My pics don't do it justice:

So if get 255 for my stock bbs would the tire look wider than the factory tire? I know the stock wheels are 17x8. So by throwing a 255 on there how wide would the tire be than? Reason of me asking this quuestion is because i love how evos look with a wide tire size on them but I don't want to mod my fenders if I go with a wider aftermarket wheel. Thanks for any help here guys. Kinda a noob with this tire and wheel stuff.

255 on an 8" rim is do-able, its just a sloppy fit and handles like crap. You need a 9" rim to run 255s properly.

Gets real "floaty" at speed and downright scary in transtition, I have tried it.
