I dont know what times I ran , cause never ran it with the stock turbo, but when I did have this kit in with the stock turbo it was spooling up at around 2200 rpm and felt a big difference through the powerband. I read above about the beading the ends but this fits so well and tight and has nice silicone couplers with t-bolt clamps there is no way this is coming off.

Guys, I would wait for the XS Engineering hard piping kit. They had it on display at SEMA and the estimated retail price was said to be $440. All polished.

Excellent. $440 would be the best deal yet. The cheapest kit I've seen is RMR's, which lists at $699... still damn expensive for some metal pipes, which, as far I know, have no power gains (supposedly faster spoolup, but how scientific is that).

dont get me wrong , im sure its a great product and fits like a glove , but how could 3 pipes be 700+ and not even be made out of aluminum? even 550 is a lot for a few pipes... whats so speical that they need to cost so much money....

Yeah, all the IC piping is waaaay overpriced. GReddy sells a complete FMIC kit with piping for only $600-700...

The RMR one is aluminum. It's almost lighter than air if you pick them up. When I was over at RMR they said the most expensive part was the process where they chrome it. But I do agree with you, I have a really hard time paying $600+ for some pipes. It's because of that mass production factor, they probably will only sell 50 sets so they dont really mark them that low. It sucks. And to think , there are people out there paying $1200 for the ralliart ones (before RA lowered the price).
