Brian K's Project Part Deux Update P*ssed Off Bumble Bee 2011

Let me just tell you prepare to have bloody fingers and a sore back.. Not saying this is extremely difficult but it is a pita.... The most trouble I had with this is the hvac system.. I do not recomend ever doing this if you do not have to.. As you can see I am almost done.. :6:

PARTS BROUGHT TO MY DOOR!!

zaklee clear cover

works shift knob

torque solution shifter bushings

Bye bye hvac and sound deadning that did not do its job.. Brought inside the dash n the hvac to work on it. Removed what was needed to be removed in both items. Took a part the whole dash n cleaned out every vent possible.. Should have this all bolted back in tomorrow! Updated pictures tomorrow :-)

someones evo is almost back together!!! :facesjump:

you can now literally pick up my dash with 2 fingers!!

WHATS DONE ALREADY::

HVAC REMOVAL
SRS REMOVAL
SOUND DEADNING REMOVED
AEM BOOST GAUGE 50PSI (3/4 INSTALLED)
TORQUE SOLLUTION MOUNTS
OIL RETURN LINE FIXED

WHATS LEFT::

FINISH THE BOOST GAUGE
CLEAN UP THE FLOOR
INSTALL RUG
MINOR TRIM PIECES LEFT
STEERING WHEEL HUB/STEERING WHEEL
CAM
COVER INSTALL
BBS INSTALLED
CF HOOD AND TRUNK

What can I say, Im just in awe with how nice my car is coming together. The interior is light as all hell now. The dash you can literally pick up with two fingers and the best part about this all is my car remains fully functional (just no hvac). I went under the dash got rid of everything I seen wasnt needed but kept stuff in tact incase I want to return this car back.. Everything in the dash was cleaned (dust free) vacuum'd up, zip tied and bolted down so tight there is absolutly no rattles. It just goes to show if you take the time and effort , with care your worksmanship shows.. Enjoy everyone hsnap:

WHATS LEFT:

LOWER INTERCOOLER PIPE RE INSTALL
EXHAUST BOLT UP
STEERING WHEEL/HUB
EVO 9 REAR SEAT INSTALL
BBS RIMS INSTALL
CF HOOD /TRUNK INSTALL

THEN OFF TO PAINT NEXT WEEK... (KEEPING SAME COLOR)

EMMM ZAKLEE THANK YOU STM

THIS ABSOLUTLY IS A AWESOME TOUCH.

Well i drove to Harrisburg today to pick up a set of evo 9 RS leather rear seats that have never been sat in :woot: Install was easy as hell , pissed me off though i accidently got mud on my carpet i just cleaned so now i have to re vacuum and warm soapy water and clean it errrr... Fantastic addition to the evo!!!! Look for more pictures tomorrow should have some more parts coming to the house... ENJOY!!

Two beautiful parts are in my possesion today.. One my works/bell steering wheel adapter came in today. All directions in japanese NICE!!! lol .. Second my bbs's are finished and powder coated. Turns out I was the test dummy for the new Dupont Black :39: Came out perfect!!!!! Ahhh things are just falling into place!!

ILL JUST SHUT UP AND LET THE PICTURES DO THE TALKING!!! :strong:

looks good, you should weigh all the parts that you removed from under the dash and see what the total weight savings was.

Damn! Your an animal man. Ha. I was eye balling the dash this winter too and wanted to pull it out, but decided aganist it. I can see I made a wise choice, maybe next year.
