Mitsubishiparts.net Evo 9 jdm rear bumper & jdm crash beam

So I am about to order the jdm rear and jdm crash beam from Mitsubishiparts.net, and I wanted to know if it comes with the bumper retainers or do I have to use OEM retainers. I DO NOT have a OEM bumper I have some fiberglass bumper that doesn't have any retainers or tag light things... So I am just trying to figure out if they come with the retainers and if they don't, why they pull the retainers off the jdm bumpers???

You use the oem retainer from the usdm bumper that should be on your car. The jdm rear from the factory only includes the bumper.

I've picked mine up from them and no the JDM bumper does not come with a retainer. I don't think they "pull" the retainers off in the first place, they just don't come with one.

I ordered my bumper support (retainers as you call them) from my Mitsu vendor, any mitsu dealership can get it since the parts you need are identical, instead of buying hte JDM plate bracket just get the USDM one and modify it and it'll still look oem.

If you want to retain the USDM bumper beam, you can check my thread as to what needs to be done to keep it: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...ld-thread.html

Hope that helps.

I know that he was around Xmas, that was when I ordered mine. It took about a month or so for it to show up, but I have tried to contact Russell a few weeks ago and nothing.

The only issue that I am having is figuring out how to make the JDM license plate bracket work. as of now anyone looking to get a bumper from them should look into getting just the Evolution IX JDM Rear Bumper Reinforcement and the tow hook cover. The other parts seem to be missing something that they do not offer.
