Thumbs up Headlight Restoration Kit that works!(pics)

So I was starting to get fed up with how sh*tty my headlights looked,
so I went out today and bought:

"Mothers Powerball 4 Headlights Restoration Kit"

Definitely was impressed by the results!

I had used the Turtle Wax Restoration kit before, and it improved them slightly,
but I bought a power drill today and used the attachment that came with the Mothers kit. (I recommend a power drill rated at 1500-2000 rpm)

I only did one headlight so you can see the difference. Definitely recommend it!

25$ for the kit
40$ for a corded power drill
=65$

65$ > 1650$ for new lights.

My left headlight was worse than the right, so I decided to clean this one first.

Yea man, I was in shock. The left headlight was the worse one too. Looks brand new now.

Wow Nice.. I just saw that power ball at Oreily's but got the Cone version instead as I will be working on my very faded GTU Rim...

Great results!
The lights were terrible on my EVO, and the mothers kit just did not work. It did however work great on my GF's 350Z.

I ended up using the 3M sanding/polishing kit, which took out all the chips/scratches.

I did this to my evo today too, I used the Meguiars Heavy Duty Two Step Headlight Restoration Kit though. The results were amazing.

I wish I would have thought of these "headlight restoration" kits a few years ago lol. I was sanding and buffing headlights out years before these kits came out. I was using the same presta polishes I use when I wetsand and buff a car. Its all the same!

The kits do work though! Nice job!

the heavy duty megulars headlight restore works very well also, it comes with a foam sanding block so it easy on the hand, both kits are around 23.99-25.99 from what ive seen

I've been using the Mother's headlight kit for quite a while now it always turns out perfect. I did the DIY red tails and a month later used this resto kit and they're back to new
