^ Thanks Bud! At first i needed to get used to the RS but i love the car now and could care less about power windows, locks etc. Plus we have rare cars I have a feeling clean and good shapes ones will be worht a lot of money down the road

Thanks guys! The rims came on the car and there not it my first choice. They will work for now. Soon I'll be getting 17 x 9.5 +18 black RpF1s. That's next on the list

 

That interior is minty. And are those slips on your black car? Don't see those too often on Evos. Coming from the honda world, everyone and their sister has slips. Not bashing it, doe. It looks beasty.

 

Thanks man! On the black car those are Rota Slips 15 inch. Tires are M/H 24.5" slicks. A lot or people with Evos that drag race run them as well. There light and pretty cheap

 

Nice RS man and welcome to ww club haha. Yea later down the road I want to have an evo8 RS as a race car and an evo 9 MR as a dd. MAYBE an evo 10...they are starting to grow on me even though they discontinued the 4g63

 

Thanks Bud! I should have built the RS in to the drag car and kept the black car as a DD lol. But i like the RS and its a fun DD. Plan on doing a few things to it but nothing serious. Thursday it goes into Boostin for the Turbo Back exhaust! This car has to last me a long time lol.

My buddy just bought a brand new Evo X on Friday. There are growing on me as well but they dont make and hold the power the 8/9s do. To go 11s in the car is tough and i hear the 4B11 doesnt handle that much power. But for a DD with minor bolt-ons the car would be fun.

 

Just installed a Hallman Boost controller the other night and tonight im going over to Boostin Performance and Devin is putting my exhaust and SD muffler on the car. Cant wait!

The Buschur SD muffler on the car sounds amazing. Devin @ Boostin did some custom fabrication for my exhaust. I pieced together the whole turbo back and ordered the SD muffler brand new. Devin did an awesome job and it came out sick. Ill have some pics up tomorrow and a sound clip for everyone

 

if I'm going to dd it, I need a stereo .....

 

?? RS from the factory come with the wiring for the stereo, they just dont have the radio deck. You buy that seperatly when bought new. Since I obviously bought this used, My RS has all speakers and a Sony deck with radio and CD the previous owner put in the car. Works awesome and is very clear

 

congradulations! i too agree with the post above, rs really brings out the true nature of the evo. ive owned an mr and driven a gsr. the rs is def my fav...with ac that is lol! also is it just me or am i seeing the alot of rs's for sale right now. this is the fourth one this week ive seen..
