factory hood scoop question?

i live in CT so we get rain and snow...i just wanted to know if i should cover the hood scoop during inclement weather so the rain and snow doesnt drip right into the engine bay, its a stock factory hood...unfortunately i dont have a garage so will this be fine or is there something that i should be doing to cover that up?

should be ok in the rain. I don't know about snow though. Depends how much i guess. People drive in the snow and rain anyways, so i'm thinking you'll be ok. just my thoughts.

You'll be fine. I assume you also have the stock hood vent that goes under the mesh?

yeah i still have the vent under the mesh but it doesnt look like that does much to keep water out... the reason why i ask is because the exhaust manifold is right underneath that and seems to be rusty as are all the stock evo manifolds that ive seen but the turb is also just right underneath that so i know when im driving it should be fine but what i really wanted to know is when the car is just sitting in the rain or snow i wasnt sure if i should put something over it to block it to conserve the life of the parts directly affected by the water or snow...but again thats why im asking cause i might be just a lil over concerned so i wanted to see what others do or thought on the subject...thanks everybody
