Custom Gauge Pod thoughts...

So I am finishing up my build and needed a place to stick my gauge pods and I didn't really want to do pillar's or on the steering column or center console...I tried to do my own over head pod..I am still in the process of sanding and adding more bondo but what do you guys think....yay or nay??

I've thought of doing this before, just don't have the time/patience Lol. Looks good though! How long did it take you to make that mold?

it looks a lot better in person but it took just about a full days work..got PVC piping and hot glued it on and just got fiber glass sheets and bondo from advance auto parts to lay over. I first layed down a piece of a white shirt that had been cut up and hot glue that over first..layed risin and harder and then started with fiber glass strips over it.....3''x 7'' strips

Honestly, I'm not a fan. It looks out of place just hanging there and having to take your eyes that far off the road to see your gauges scares me.

I think if it was sunk in more and angled to the drive more , maybe wouldn't look so out of place

It's a great idea though
