I used Zaino, Lot's of work but it looks good.
You have to wash your car with Dawn dish detergant, then clay bar it, then wash it with the Zaino car wash then use the Z3 or Z5 (for swirl marks) for 3 coats, use the gloss enhancer between coats.
It lasts for 8-12 months. Looks awesome.
Mine dirty now or I'd show you a pic.
I bought the show car kit ($85) and a bottle of Z3 ($13).

Zaino does not recommend it every time, only before you claybar it because dawn with it's high akaline base will remove a lot more contaiments then the Zaino car wash, they do mention that washing it with Dawn excessively is very bad for the paint finish.

I do think Zaino is great for getting a good shine, but it is not a wax at all so it doesn't hide anything even the swirl remover isn't all it's cracked up to be in my experience. I compeletly Zainoed my car back in September and since October it is no longer garaged and get's really dirty because I put 5K miles a month on it. Due to sub-freezing temperatures here during the winter, I only take it to a brush-less auto car wash once a week and use the spray-shine while I quickly try to dry it off before it freezes and it always looks great until I get on the salt covered roads again.

Zaino is worth the money if you're willing to put in the time and follow the directions religiously, in my opinion.

i wonder the samething. I almost passed out when paint was coming off my car when i was washing it. I called Mitsu of America they actually had to contact Research and Development of Japan to find out what the deal was. Took them 3 days to get back to me and they told me there is no clue clear coat on Rally Red.

In another post it was discussed that they don't use clear on the red because it dulls the color down, without clear it looks more brilliant. As far as what to use you can use anything you want just make sur it says safe for all finishes. I have tried the three step Meguiars system, it works well. I have also used Zymol which works well too but is a bit more finicky. I now have Meguiars mirror glaze show car glaze #7 and hi-tech yellow wax #26 but, have not had time to try it yet.
