Evo VIII Build in The Mitten State
^ Thanks for the details about the car! Always cool to learn the story of the car.
I picked up some genuine Evo IX dash trim earlier this week and installed it. I think the interior might be the aspect of the car I have touched the least, so it's nice to add a little more flair there for a change. I'd like to add a couple other touches to the interior this winter to spice it up a bit, but I'll definitely be keeping it chill.
You can also see the Evo IX pedals I installed a while back- I don't think I ever posted a picture of those.

Toss a steering wheel/hub and a pair of buckets in there and I'll be a happy camper. We'll see what happens though. The stock seats are definitely comfortable for my use.
My new front bumper arrived today, so I'll post some pics and details about that tomorrow.

Now I see where my ARC spark plug cover came from, awesome. If you're aware of anymore "rare" parts, let me know.
This build has came a long way, with a lot of love and care it looks like. I'll be sure to check this out every so often. It's definitely impressive.

Thanks!
I'm actually going to be out of town, but maybe next year!
You know me and my stock head units! lol
Comin' atcha!
Thanks a lot, will do.
My Voltex street front bumper arrived last week, so after a quick test fit I dropped it off at the body shop for paint. It should be done sometime this week. I'm looking forward to not driving around without a bumper anymore, lol. Here are a couple pics:

I'm planning to run it without the canards for the time being. I love the canards, but I don't think I can pull them off with the factory wing. My hope is to add both of those items at once when I can swing it. Hopefully it will look decent in the mean time though.
I'm going to be writing a couple of detailed reviews about the Voltex parts for OctaneFreaks.com very soon, so I'll be sure to post those up when they're ready! I'll post up when the bumper is back from paint.

Thanks for the kind words!
The IX front with SE lip, stock sides, and JDM rear is definitely a good look. It's what I had originally planned to stick with for a year round car, but Voltex got the better of me! It stood out as the coolest look to me when I started researching Evos.
Speaking of Voltex, the body shop called and said the bumper is painted and ready to go. I'll pick it up shortly and hopefully have time to install it tomorrow.
