We are currently working on fabricating a ipad mini in dash with the double din piece. Ac would still relocate below the same and you would have choice of CD player mounted in glove box or running a processor for audio. Advantages would be running evo scan in dash live, bigger display monitor, ecuflash if they get it working right and many more.

IF this turns out.. How many people would be interested in this type of setup and how much would you pay for it?? Pm or post feedback on what your thoughts are. If there is enough interest we will mass produce it, otherwise will be built per order.

that is so funny, i was at the apple store(we own mac desktop, air, iPad, plus iPhones) looking at the mini thinking this would fit in my lab coat for clinical days(i'm a nursing student), and once a week i crank up my project evo MR, drive it around the block and park her back in the garage. As i was exiting today i looked at the dash and was like; that mini ipad's measurements could almost fit the console and i could get rid of the radio completely. I'm in, lets see some drawings or pics of ideas

I have been thinking of doing Windows 8 tablet in a double din setup. Is there a reason you want to go with the Ipad setup? Also, what all would your 'kit' include? (OEM double din frame/IPAD/HVAC relocation???)

IPad would be cheaper and its more geared towards entertainment. I like W8 bit the devices are pricey. Oh and is be interested as well

Ipad also would stay charging constantly with a CD player since it would plug right in to the charging port. Also I believe there is a bigger interest for iPads vs windows platforms.

Kit would be the dash kit and hvac relocation panel. Ipad wouldn't benefit from us purchasing them and re selling them as it would cost you more unless you would want it jail broken then we could arrange something. We are just waiting for a few more parts to
